Does anyone know if there are any plans to turn Alan’s books into audio CD? As a friend of mind who has limited eyesight and would like to hear them, I could also borrow them for the car, listening to Alan’s escapades – Alan would have to narrate of course!

Depends on which ones she wants. There are quite a few of Alans books in audio format. I have a few on tape. His "evening with" is on AF, along with a Christmas one and Lighthouse Keeper, etc.
I dont think his newer ones are but certainly his older ones are narated by himself.

I dont think there is a specific link, or site, regarding Audio Books. I knew the books I wanted and searched eBay to see if there was that particular book in audio format.

If you tell me the ones you want, I will see if I have them on tape and post them to you, better still if you give me a day or so, I will post what I have got here on this thread and if you want any of them let me know and I'll pop them in the post to you, no problem. Saves buying them, just dont tell Alan.

Hi Simon, Sue my friend is looking on ebay for some audio CD's, if you can leave the offer open I would be grateful. I don’t want you to get into trouble with Mr T. at the AT Towers.

P.S. Thanks for the Hoover advice, I think my sister has some John Lewis vouchers left. I will send her shopping, as if she needs an excuse anyway!

No problem the offer is there. I wont get into trouble just lending them out. You could always tell her to try her local library they may be more suited to help her and it will be free too.
